WHO NEEDS A BADGE: All attendees age 10 and up must purchase a badge to attend MagicCon: Detroit.

  • Attendees age 16+ must purchase an Adult badge
  • Attendees 10 - 15 may purchase a Youth badge*
  • Children under 10 must visit Registration/Will Call for a complimentary child credential*

*Please note, all minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian at all times.

MagicCon Pricing = no hidden fees. Badge prices shown include the cost of the badge and service fee. A standard shipping fee of $15 will apply to your purchase at checkout.  Merchandise items may incur additional taxes and shipping charges which will be displayed during checkout. International orders will not ship and must be picked up onsite. International shipping fees will automatically be refunded at the mailing deadline.

SHIPPING INFORMATION: Badge Shipping/Mailing Deadline is January 11, 2027.

  • Badges and/or merchandise purchased prior to the January 11 deadline, will be shipped to you in advance.
  • All purchases made after the mailing deadline will be available for onsite pick-up only.
  • All merchandise included in your badge package must be picked up onsite. Only pre-order merchandise will be shipped in advance.
  • We are unable to ship to an international address. International orders will have their shipping fees refunded after the mailing deadline and will pick up their orders onsite.

BADGE TRANSFERS: You can transfer badges to your friends! If you purchased a badge on behalf of someone else, please follow the transfer steps on the How to Buy page to send the badge to your friend. They will now have access to purchase their own ticketed play events, but all badges will continue to ship to the purchaser.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: Please make your badge and ticketed play event selections carefully. Once purchased, MagicCon badges and Ticketed Play Events are non-refundable, cannot be transferred to another event, cannot be reproduced, resold or upgraded. Lost badges may be replaced at full retail value pending inventory and management discretion.

Your MagicCon order will be shipped via FedEx or UPS depending on shipping location.

A standard shipping fee of $15 will apply to your purchase at checkout. Merchandise items added to your order may be subject to additional sales tax and may increase shipping costs. International orders will not ship and must be picked up onsite. International shipping fees will automatically be refunded at the mailing deadline. We do not ship to P.O boxes. 

To improve the overall shipping experience, we highly suggest setting up UPS or FedEx account once you receive notice that your order has been shipped.
