Planet Anime Kansas City 2025 will be held on November 21-23, 2025 at Bartle Hall, 301 West 13th St, Kansas City, MO 64105
Public Exhibit Floor Hours:
Friday November 21- 3 PM to 8 PM. Programming will extend past this time.
Saturday November 22 - 10 AM to 7 PM. Programming will extend past this time. Red Panda Pass / VIP's will have early access to show floor (30 minutes prior to opening - 9:30am)
Sunday November 23 - 10 AM to 5 PMÂ
The Box Office for same day sales (on site sales) and the Will Call (for advance purchasers to pick up admission credentials) will open 2 hours before the public show opening.  Expect lines at both the Box Office and Will Call in the mornings, particularly on Saturday morning.Â

Planet Anime Kansas City comes with enhanced health, safety and hygiene procedures in place. Please note that any public location where people are present provides an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19. All persons present at PAKC, including but not limited to, attendees, guests, exhibitors, volunteers, contractors and staff voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
MEMBERSHIPS: All advance purchase admissions to Planet Anime Kansas City (PAKC) 2025 are Memberships which include
1) purchaser’s admission credential for the event 2) a subscription to the PAKC newsletter which purchaser shall receive at intervals throughout the year 3) the ability to attend certain off-site events during PAKC. These may also require a separate ticket. Details will be posted to the PAKC website. There may be other events scheduled during the year that are also available only to those who have purchased memberships.
WHERE TO GO WITH YOUR ADVANCE MEMBERSHIP PURCHASE: Your advance purchase MUST be redeemed for an admission credential at the show at the Advance Purchase and Will Call booths in the 2300 Lobby area. These booths will be in the 2300 lobby of the Kansas City Convention Center (Bartle Hall). Enter into the convention center Thru the 1500 Lobby, located on the south side of 14th Street between Wyandotte and Central. Signage will direct you upstairs to the 2nd floor, and over the bridge to the 2300 Lobby. The Advance Admission and Will Call area will be clearly marked. Your Membership MAY NOT be redeemed at the Box Office, which is for same day purchases ONLY.
NOTE: Planet Anime Kansas City has added a remote pick up location to pick up your credentials prior to the show on Thursday November 20, 2025.

PLEASE NOTE: Red Panda Pass Memberships are available for purchase in advance ONLY. They will not be available for purchase at the show. Quantities are limited.
PURCHASING ADMISSIONS AT THE SHOW (AT THE DOOR):
Admissions to Planet Anime Kansas City may be purchased on the days of the show. The Box office will be located in the 2300 lobby of the Kansas City Convention Center (Bartle Hall). Enter into the convention center Thru the 1500 Lobby, located on the south side of 14th Street between Wyandotte and Central. Signage will direct you upstairs to the 2nd floor, and over the bridge to the 2300 Lobby. The Box Office accepts cash and some credit and debit cards. Purchasers will be provided with an admission credential, generally a wrist band, which may not be removed during the period of its use. The wrist bands are durable. NOTE: Prices will be slightly higher the day of the show. Check our website FAQs to see Show Day pricing.
NON-REFUNDABLE: Memberships purchased in advance and admissions purchased at the show for PAKC are NON-REFUNDABLE. Memberships are not transferrable once redeemed for the admission credential. They may be transferred to someone else prior to redemption for an admission credential. If the admission credential is, or includes, a wrist-band, the wrist-band must be attached to the person attending PCKC and cannot be removed during the period of its use. The wrist-bands are durable.
GUEST CANCELLATION - Admissions NON-REFUNDABLE: Memberships are NOT refundable due to cancellation of the appearance of any particular guest or combination of guests. PAKC has a history of very few guest cancellations, however any guest may cancel at any time for personal or professional reasons. We will announce any cancellations promptly on our website and in our social media. If you are attending to meet a particular guest or combination of guests, we suggest you DO NOT purchase your admission in advance. If that guest or those guests cancel, your admission is NON REFUNDABLE. Admissions are expected to be available at the show (at the Box Office) throughout the event. We do not anticipate that the facility will reach capacity, which is quite large, though it could happen.
Some guests/celebrities appear at PAKC only on certain days. We will announce days of appearance for a particular guest when we announce that guest. NOTE: Those days of appearance could change. If they do, an admission purchased for a particular day is NON REFUNDABLE, even though the guest’s days of appearance may have changed. The admission may be swappable or upgradable. Most guests will appear on Saturday and Sunday. A few may be one-day only. See celebrity guest page for appearance days, changes and additional information.
ADMISSION TO PANELS AND PRESENTATIONS: The admission credential to PAKC includes, at no extra cost, admission to most (maybe all) panels and presentations at the event. An admission credential to PAKC does not, however, guarantee admission to a given panel or presentation. Some panels may reach capacity and in that event some fans may be denied entry to a given panel. We do not clear the rooms between panels. Panels admission is included with no additional charge, with the exception of some panels that may be separate paid panels involving a special guest or group of guests, or possibly a workshop. If there are any panels or workshops requiring an additional admission fee these will be clearly noted on the web-site and at the convention. This is not common, but it can happen.

UPGRADING MEMBERSHIP: Memberships may be upgraded easily within your confirmation email. You may upgrade to any higher priced product at an additional cost. For instance, if you purchase a Membership with Sunday admission, this may be upgraded to a Membership with 3-day admission. If you purchase a Membership with Sunday admission, it may be upgraded to a Membership with Saturday or 3-day admission and only charged the difference plus fees and taxes.
SWAPPING MEMBERSHIP: Memberships may be swapped easily within your confirmation statement, however, the difference in price will not be refunded. For instance, if you purchase a Membership with 3 Day admission, this may be swapped with a Saturday admission.
To Upgrade or Swap a Membership, open your confirmation and click on the Green Upgrade or Swap button.
SPECIAL EVENTS OR WORKSHOPS: Additional special event or workshops may be offered. These may require a separate ticket. These could involve celebrity guests or creator guests. Also, autograph and photo-opportunity tickets may be offered in advance. These various tickets will not include an admission credential. If the particular guest for which these tickets apply does not appear, these tickets will be refundable. Additional details will be posted to the PAKC web-site on a case by case basis.

Planet Anime Kansas City is owned and operated by Planet Promotions LLC, a Kansas Corporation (hereinafter “PPLLC”)
Admissions to PAKC are sold as Memberships. Purchase, acceptance and use of this Membership signifies that you accept and understand the following disclaimers:
1) admission credentials cannot be replaced if stolen, lost or destroyed, and a credential is valid only for the day or days for which it is issued.
2) admission credentials are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. If a credential includes a wristband, the wristband may not be removed during its period of use.
3) reproduction of event credential is not permitted. Each admission credential is for ONE person only.
4) once a Membership has been redeemed for an admission credential, that admission credential may not be sold.
5) unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale of admission credentials is prohibited by law and grounds for seizure without compensation.
6) PPLLC reserves the right to revoke or refuse admission, or to eject any person, who fails to comply with the rules of the show or of the venue, and all applicable laws, without refund.
7) NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES of Membership purchases, except exchanges as provided through our system of upgrading or swapping a Membership. UPGRADING MEMBERSHIP: Upgrading a Membership refers to exchanging your Membership to a higher priced Membership. Memberships may be upgraded easily within your confirmation email. You may upgrade to any higher priced product at an additional cost. For instance, if you purchase a Membership with Sunday admission, this may be upgraded to a Membership with a 3-day admission. You will only be charged the difference in price, plus fees and taxes. SWAPPING MEMBERSHIP: Swapping a Membership refers to exchanging your Membership for a lower priced Membership. Memberships may be swapped easily within your confirmation statement, however, the difference in price will not be refunded. For instance, if you purchase a Membership with a 3 Day admission, this may be swapped for a Sunday admission. 9) MASK OR VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: We do not know what covid requirements might be in place at PAKC. We do not know whether masks will be required, or whether vaccination will be required. We do not anticipate either being required, however conditions could change before PAKC which could result in changing requirements. If this possibility concerns you, please wait to purchase your Membership and admission until you are at PAKC MEMBERSHIPS AND ADMISSIONS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE due to a mask requirement or vaccine requirement at PAKC, even if that requirement is instituted AFTER your purchase.
10) ADMISSION TO PANELS: The membership credential for Planet Anime Kansas City includes at no extra cost admission to panels at the event, unless otherwise specified. An admission credential to Planet Anime Kansas City does not, however, guarantee admission to a given panel or presentation. Some panels may reach capacity and in that event some fans may be denied entry to a given panel. We do not clear the rooms between panels. Occasionally a pane or workshop may have a separate paid admission fee. See paragraph 10, below.
11) PAID PANELS OR WORKSHOPS: Paid panels or workshops may be offered. These may require a separate ticket. These could involve celebrity guests or creator guests. Tickets will not include a Membership or admission credential for PAKC. If the particular guest for which these tickets apply does not appear, these tickets will be refundable. Additional details will be posted to the Planet Anime Kansas City website on a case by case basis. If there are any panels or workshops requiring a separate ticket, these will be clearly noted on the web-site and at the convention.
12) ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Membership credential holder assumes all risk and danger of personal injury, including death, damage to property, and all other hazards arising from, or related in any way to, attending PAKC, caused by negligence, gross negligence or otherwise, and the holder releases PPLLC, its owner, employees, agents and assigns, from any and all liabilities and/or claims resulting from such risks, danger, damage, injury or death. For purposes of this provision, attending PAKC is interpreted to include those areas in and around the Kansas City Convention Center, including areas outside the security perimeter for PAKC.
13) Membership credential holder consents to use of the holder’s image or likeness by media now known or hereafter devised, for advertising, sale and/or other promotional purposes.
14) Membership credential holder agrees not to take photographs or video where posted as prohibited.
15) PAKC is a zero tolerance zone for harassment.
